Jericho for Justice

Jericho members, through their contributions and activities, promote advocacy, legislative education, and public policy development that positively impacts poor people in California. Membership in Jericho: A Voice for Justice supports ongoing lobbying at the state capitol. Membership in Jericho: Education for Justice supports workshops and public policy efforts throughout the state.

Members of both Voice and Education are kept informed throughout the legislative session by

A quarterly newsletter that educates on key legislation and issues
A legislative "fast-track" alert system - e-mail and fax alerts that inform members of necessary immediate actions on bills
A Legislative Score Card that summarizes legislators' votes and the Governor's actions on key bills
Educational events on selected public policy issues
Occasional policy papers and Issue Briefs on current legislative concerns

Members may participate in local Jericho chapters to follow legislation and lobby key issues at the legislative district level.
